What motivates you to be a Cypress Ambassador?
Becoming a Cypress Ambassador is a natural next step for me. I'm really passionate about automation; I started with Selenium and the Java world. However, when I used Cypress to implement Visual Regression, I was hooked.
Cypress isn't just a tool; it's a game-changer. It simplifies testing and makes building web apps smoother than ever. As an Ambassador, I'm excited to spread the word about Cypress and show others how it can transform their development process. It's not just about promoting a tool; it's about building a community where we can all learn and grow together.
I've had an amazing journey with Cypress so far, and I can't wait to help others discover its power for themselves.
How do you currently help others that are either using Cypress or interested in using Cypress?
I actively support others using Cypress by engaging in online forums, creating tutorials, and hosting workshops. Additionally, I'm currently leading tech talks internally within my organization, sharing insights on Cypress to promote its adoption and empower colleagues in their testing efforts.

What is your favorite "Cypress Best Practice" and why?
My favorite Cypress best practice is implementing the Page Object Model (POM) and keeping tests atomic. This approach involves creating reusable page objects that abstract the details of the UI elements and actions on a page. By keeping tests atomic, I ensure they focus on a single functionality or feature, making them easier to maintain and troubleshoot. POM promotes code reusability, readability, and scalability, while atomic tests enhance test reliability and maintainability, contributing to a robust test suite.
Outside of work, what are your favorite things to do (hobbies, passions, etc.)?
Outside of work, I love cycling and running. They keep me active and happy. Riding my bike and going for runs outdoors helps me relax and feel free. Sometimes I walk into the woods.
