What motivates you to be a Cypress Ambassador?
To teach and learn more about Cypress and the testing community at large.
How do you currently help others that are either using Cypress or interested in using Cypress?*
Mostly answering discord and stackoverflow questions. And the occasional blog post.
What is your favorite Cypress feature?
Just the general ease of use. Cypress is so easy to learn and adopt.
What is your favorite "Cypress Best Practice" and why?
The retry-ability in the should functionality. This enormously reduces test flakiness.
Outside of work, what are your favorite things to do (hobbies, passions, etc.)?
I'm an avid reader and archer. My longbow sees a great deal of use in the summer months.
What is one professional milestone you are proud of? (an accomplishment, celebration, recognition, etc.)
The most proud moment of my career was when I became a technical point of contact. Suddenly, people directed their questions towards me. And I was able to answer. That's the moment I'm most proud of.
For new users - what is the best way to "get started" with Cypress?
The best way to get started with Cypress would be npm install cypress --sav-dev and just go for it. As in almost everything, learn by doing.
