What motivates you to be a Cypress Ambassador?
I love exploring new things together and growing with the community, and I always enjoy connecting virtually or in-person with local developers who share similar interests in technology. As Cypress Ambassadors, we make connections to build great products and advance your skills, careers, and network.
How do you currently help others that are either using Cypress or interested in using Cypress?
I provide support for Cypress users through virtual platforms like Medium and YouTube, where I share insightful blog posts and tutorial videos. Additionally, I offer in-person assistance through talks and workshops, covering topics like "Test Data and Mocking in Cypress Angular for Beginners" and guiding users on "Leveraging the Cypress Chrome Recorder Extension". My goal is to empower individuals with practical knowledge and resources to enhance their Cypress experience.
What is your favorite Cypress feature?
I have so many! Cypress Cloud, test replay, branch review function, and Cypress Chrome Recorder Extension!
What is your favorite "Cypress Best Practice" and why?
Test Replay, it captures every test run detail and is easy for developers to check back every test case on videos or screenshoot.
Outside of work, what are your favorite things to do (hobbies, passions, etc.)?
Host tech event, swimming and love explore coffee culture during travel.
What is one professional milestone you are proud of? (an accomplishment, celebration, recognition, etc.)
One professional milestone I'm proud of is transitioning from a self-taught graphic designer to a proficient software developer. As a Google Developer Community Lead, I've organized events with over 600 attendees, fostering a thriving community. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in mentoring teenagers in coding, witnessing their growth from beginners to skilled developers. And now I'm proud to be part of Cypress Ambassadors.
